Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Minister of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia S.Byambatsogt  signed an air services agreement between Qatar and Mongolia. The Civil Aviation Authorities of both countries has been discussed establishing Agreement on Air Relations since 2014.

After the signing ceremony, the two ministers discussed Qatar-Mongolia relations in the fields of transportation, civil aviation and air transportation and means to further enhance them.

The national flag carrier MIAT State Owned Joint-Stock Company is preparing  to conduct  direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Doha.
