Mongolia will host the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Asia and Oceania Championship on 11-26 March. The championships among boys under 18 and the IV division will be held at the Ice Palace “Steppe-Arena.

It is expected that more than 450 athletes will come to Mongolia. It is planned to spend MNT 1.7 billion on the organization of the events. The International Ice Hockey Federation will allocate half of the sum. The remaining 50 percent will be made up of sports enthusiasts and private enterprises of the host country.

The Steppe Arena ice palace was built with international requirements and IIHF criteria.

A total of 6 teams, including Mongolia, will take part in the Championship, and 4 teams will take part in the IV Division of the World Championship.
