The Prime Minister of Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene, who is on an official visit to South Korea, announced a programme “Welcome to Mongolia” in Seoul on 14 February.
Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene arrived in South Korea for a five-day visit on 13 February. He held talks with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and discussed expanding cooperation between the two countries and the issue of visa benefits. In December, 2022, Mongolia has exempted South Korean tourists from visa requirements for up to 90 days.
According to data released by South Korea’s foreign ministry, 39,746 Mongolians were living in South Korea as of June 2022.
