Olympic bronze medalist, and World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar announced his retirement during the National Judo Championships held in Ulaanbaatar city. He officially retired on Sunday ending his 20-year career in judo.
Born March 19, 1984 in Uvs province, Kh.Tsagaanbaatar won only medal for Mongolia in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, competing in the men’s -60 kg contest of judo. Then he became the first Mongolian to win the gold medal at the World Judo Championships in Rotterdam in 2009.
