Mongolian athlete D.Lhamsuren was elected chair of the target sprint committee of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF). She was elected at  the 70th General Assembly of the ISSF in Cairo, Egypt .

She won two silver medals and one bronze medal at the Asian Airgun Championship. D.Lhamsuren is the first Mongolian to be appointed to this position.

Luciano Rossi of Italy was elected President of the ISSF with 53 votes, and Willy Grill of Germany was appointed General Secretary.

Representatives headed by President of the Mongolian Shooting Association E. Monkh-Ochir, General Secretary O. Enkhsaikhan, Honored Coach L. Undralbat, member of the Medical and Anti-Doping Committee of the International and Asian Shooting Associations, N. Tsogtsaikhan took part in this Assembly.
