The Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed interest in visiting Mongolia in 2023.
Mongolian Ambassador to the Philippines S.Enkhbayar extended to Marcos Jr. the invitation of Mongolian President U.Khurelsukh to visit Mongolia “preferably from June to August when the weather is more favorable.”
The President received S.Enkhbayar in a courtesy call in Malacañang Monday.
“I’m looking forward to not only visit Mongolia, but I’m looking forward to seeing our relationship grow and have much closer ties with Mongolia in the future,” Marcos Jr. told the envoy.
The Philippines and Mongolia established their diplomatic relations in 1973.
The two countries will commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.
