Today (29 November) President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh and his wife L.Bolortsetseg have arrived in Tokyo on a state visit to Japan on the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
The President of Mongolia was welcomed by State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Shunsuke Takei, Chief of Protocol (Ambassador) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Takehiro Shimada and Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan D. Batjargal.
Mongolian President U.Khurelsukh will pay courtesy call to Emperor Naruhito of Japan and hold official talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during his visit.
This state visit of Mongolian leader to Japan is the first one since 2010, and is aimed at deepening relations between Mongolia and Japan.
