Mongolia’s inflation, measured as the consumer price index, soared year-on-year by 14.5 percent in October, said the country’s National Statistics Office.
The index rose 1.3 percent from the previous month and 10.9 percent from the start of 2022. The increase is largely related to the higher prices for imported goods.
There are 410 items in the country’s consumer goods and services basket, with 221 of them imported.
