The 2022 IBSA Para judo World Championships is being held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Nine Mongolian athletes compete in  competition.

L. Turuunaa won a silver medal in the women’s 70 kg weight category in the J1 competition, which is held every four years.

She became the first Mongolian athlete to win a medal at the World Para judo Championship.
