Mongolia exported 11.1 million tons of coal in the first seven months of this year, reported Mongolian Customs General Administration. The figure marks a year-on-year increase of 11.2 percent.
Coal is the main export commodity of Mongolia, which is rich in natural resources.
According to the Mongolian Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, the country of 3.4 million has planned to export at least 36 million tons of coal in 2022,
Mongolia exported 15.9 million tons of coal in 2021, down 44.3 percent year on year.
