The Socialist International held a virtual meeting of the SI Presidium on Saturday 19th February 2022. The Socialist International is the worldwide organisation of social democratic, socialist and labour parties. It currently brings together 133 political parties and organisations from all continents.

Batbold Sukhbaatar MP and Former Prime Minister of Mongolia, Vice-President of Socialist International participated in the virtual meeting speaking on issues which included addressing the situation regarding Ukraine and its implications for global security.

Mongolian People’s Party is the one and only member party of The Socialist International from Mongolia. Batbold Sukhbaatar has been serving as Vice-President of Socialist International since being elected in 2012.
