Two cross-country skiers of Mongolia have so far qualified for the upcoming 2022 Olympic Winter Games, and within the framework of cooperation between the MSF and the Swiss Ski Association, they are now training in Switzerland for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, scheduled to take place from Feb. 4-20, will be the 14th Winter Olympics for Mongolia.
Mongolia competed at the Winter Olympic Games for the first time in 1964 and has taken part at most Winter Olympics since then, missing just the 1976 edition in Innsbruck, Austria.
Although the nation is a force to contend with in combat sports such as freestyle wrestling, boxing, shooting, and judo at the Summer Olympics, it is still yet to win the elusive medal at the Winter Games.
