In recent days, the capital city and some northern and central provinces of Mongolia have been covered with white smoke, which is from Russia’s Siberian wildfires.
According to the meteorological agency, the smoke will repeatedly cover northern parts of Mongolia as long as the wind blows from the north and until the Siberian wildfires have been extinguished.
The atmospheric monitoring services have reported that the air quality index in Ulaanbaatar has reached an unhealthy level due to the smoke from Russia.
