Today (3 August), Mongolia confirmed 1019 new cases of coronavirus: 220 in the capital Ulaanbaatar and 799 in the provinces. This indicated that Covid-19 infection is decreasing in Ulaanbaatar, but increasing across the rest of the country. Separately, four people have died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

So far, Mongolia has had 167229 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Unfortunately, 827 people have died of the virus in the country of three million.
