Today (28 June), Mongolia confirmed 1811 new cases of Covid-19; this brings the total number, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 111505. According to the Health Ministry, 983 of the new confirmed cases are from Ulaanbaatar; 823 of them were locally transmitted. It was also reported that five medical workers have been infected with coronavirus.

Separately, 834 people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total recoveries to 70792.

Unfortunately, there were also 15 deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours. So far, 533 Mongolians have lost their lives due to coronavirus.
