As of today (19 May), Mongolia has 50099 confirmed cases of coronavirus; nearly 87 percent of them have recovered. Unfortunately, Mongolia has reported a further six deaths from Covid-19; this brings the total death toll in the country to 227. Currently, 99 people with coronavirus are under treatment and are in a critical condition.

Mongolia is ranked second for vaccinating 54.7 percent of its 3.3 million population after Israel (62.8 percent). Vaccine roll-outs against Covid-19 pandemic are running in 206 countries around the world.
