The ongoing nationwide lockdown will be eased from Saturday. The Mongolian government on Wednesday decided to reduce the lockdown measures; this comes after 1.3 million people in the country of 3.3 million, have received their first doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
All service organizations, except for 18 categories such as stores carrying non-food items, saunas, bars, hotels, fitness training centres, and entertainment venues, will be allowed to reopen starting from tomorrow.
However, service organizations will only allowed to serve customers who have received Covid-19 vaccines.
Mongolia imposed the current lockdown on April 10 to curb the steep surge in local coronaviruscases.
