Following a two week pause, Mongolia has restarted its vaccination programme.
Mongolia launched its national vaccination rollout in late February, with the aim of vaccinating at least 60 percent of the total population. Currently, some 650 thousand people have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine; 10 percent of them have received the second jab.
Today (23 April), the government restarted the Covid-19 vaccination rollout with aim of 60,000 jabs per day. The vaccination programme has been suspended for two weeks amid strict lockdown imposed nationwide on 10-25 April.
