Today (13 April), Mongolia reported 885 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths – a man aged 20 and another aged 61. The 20 year-old man becomes the country’s youngest victim of Covid-19 and brings the death toll to 27. The death rate has taken a sharp upward trajectory; over the last week, more than 10 people have died of the virus.

As of today, the country of three million has 16.603 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
