Today (2 April), Mongolia recorded two deaths and 486 new cases of COVID-19 after testing 11876 samples in laboratories nationwide The two people who died on Wednesday were aged 69 and 84; this brings the total deaths from the virus within the last week to four.

Also, within the last 24-hours, there an additional 93 new cases have been reported in the provinces – the remainder being in the capital Ulaanbaatar.

So far, Mongolia has had 8788 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 14 deaths.
