Mongolia’s recovery rate falls to 57 percent

In the last the 24 hours, 150 Mongolians have been discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases (NCCD) after having fully recovered from coronavirus. Therefore, a total of 57 percent, or 5070 people have fully recovered.

Since Mongolia registered its first local transmission in November 2020, the NCCD has been keeping the recovery rate between 70 and 80 percent of all confirmed cases. However, as the new confirmed daily cases has reached to three digits, the recovery rate has fallen to 57 percent. Similarly, the number of deaths has risen; to date, 12 people have died from Covid-19 in the country of three million – most in the last month,

Today (1 April), Mongolia confirmed 394 new cases after testing 20489 samples in a dozen laboratories nationwide. So far, the country’s total tally of Covid-19 has reached 8841.
