Today (31 March), Mongolia has reported two deaths and 377 new cases of COVID-19 after testing 10652 samples in laboratories nationwide. Two Mongolians aged 69 and 84 have died of coronavirus; bringing the total number in the country of three million to 12.
So far, Mongolia has 8447 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 7000 of them are in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of the country.
A total of 49 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the provinces in the last 24 hours. The coronavirus infection has now hit 15 of Mongolia’s 21 provinces.
The Mongolian Government will decide today (31 March), whether to issue strict-lockdown measures or not, and if so – for how many days?
