In last the 24 hours, 48 Mongolians have been discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases (NCCD) after having fully recovered from coronavirus. Therefore, a total of 72 percent or 3130 people with coronavirus have fully recovered. Since Mongolia registered its first local transmissions in November 2020, the NCCD has been keeping the recovery rate between 70 and 80 percent of all confirmed cases.

Today (17 March), Mongolia confirmed 130 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number in the country to 4340; of these 3807 are locally transmissions.
