A new Covid-19 test kit developed by Mongolian scientists has achieved 100% accuracy. The breakthrough product has been the work ofscientists at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS). The PCR test kit has the ability of detecting antibodies against SARS-Cov-2 in samples of saliva.

The scientists launched the project in December 2020.

The new testing tool will ease the current method of COVID-19 testing; it is also notably cheaper.
