Earlier today (25 February), Mrs. A.Ambaselmaa, Head of the Surveillance and Research Centre of the National Centre for Communicative Diseases submitted a letter of retirement. The NCCD has been – and remains – organisation responsible for spearheading Mongolia’s fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

A.Ambaselmaa has been worked in health sector for 35 years; of which, 14 years have been at the NCCD.

A.Ambaselmaa said that she started her career as a health control director at General Agency for Specialised Inspection in Dundgobi. Then was she promoted to work at the NCCD in 2007.
