Scholars of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) are working to develop a new PCR test kit to detect antibodies against SARS-Cov-2 in samples of saliva.

The scientists launched the project in December 2020 and intend to complete it in March.

The Mongolian Government is supporting the work by providing all-round support to the project team.

With the successful realization of the project, it will ease the current method of the COVID-19 test.
