On 10 February, the Mongolian Cabinet introduced a four year plan worth MNT 10 trillion to improve the economy and protect health. The plan aims to support youth employment, ensure stable revenues and implement housing projects.

As part of the plan, the cabinet will issue a total of MNT 2 trillion soft loans with three years terms to support new jobs. Furthermore, 5000 young people, who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 crisis will be able to participate in a special government programme to learn new skills such as becoming truck drivers. If people fromUlaanbaatar get jobs in the countryside, they will receive bonuses.
