In the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar, strict quarantine measures will be enforced between 11 and 23 February. During the quarantine, residents are banned from leaving their homes unless going to groceries and pharmacies. Anyone who leaves home without a reasonable explanation will be fined MNT 500 thousand. Furthermore, enterprises which operate during the quarantine – with the exception of a small list of key sectors – will be fined MNT 5 million.
Separately, anyone who refuses or avoids taking the Covid-19 tests will be fined MNT 100 thousand.
