The National Emergency Commission has decided to take strict quarantine measures during the Lunar New Year holidays. These will be implemented from 11-23 February; only employees from 14 sectors to be allowed to work. During the period, the NOC is planning to conduct mass Covid-19 tests focusing on 420 apartment blocks in Ulaanbaatar.

The government has approved MNT 30 billion for the mass tests; MNT four billion from the Ulaanbaatar city budget and MNT 26 billion from government funds.
