On Tuesday (2 February),  Mongolia reported 18 new COVID-19 cases over the previous 24 hours, bringing its total infections of local transmissions to 1323. The latest confirmed cases were locally transmitted or detected in the country’s capital Ulaanbaatar. Furthermore, a fourth person has died of coronavirus in the country of three million.

Meanwhile, 13 more patients were discharged from hospitals after full recovery, bringing its total recoveries to 1,384.

The Asian country confirmed its first case of COVID-19 in March 2020.
