MIAT, Mongolian airlines will conduct two charter flights to Seoul this week. The National Emergency Commission decided to repatriate Mongolians who are currently stranded in South Korea with charter flights on 22 and 31 January. The flights come amid demonstrations from nationals in Ulaanbaatar and foreign countries – by friends and relatives and those who are unable to fly come.
Mongolia began the staggered repatriation of its citizens in February 2020, followed by the enforcement of a strict quarantine schedule.
