The US Embassy in Ulaanbaatar has asked the help of the Mongolian Government to exchange its employees who have completed their jobs in the country and to bring in newly appointed staff to posts in UB. Therefore, the US Government has, with the help of the Mongolian Government, chartered flights between Ulaanbaatar and Seoul.
The flights were conducted between Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar and Seoul’s Inchon International. They have brought 30 employees of US Embassy, three UN workers and five Mongolians back to Ulaanbaatar. Subsequently, 38 passengers have been quarantined in in Kempinski Hotel in UB.
