Today (30 December), Mongolia confirmed 20 new cases of coronavirus after testing 12828 people. Two passengers from a charter flight from Tokyo and 18 people from the General Hospital of Ulaanbaatar’s Bayanzurkh District have tested positive for Covid-19. It is estimated that   1418 people have direct contact with patients from the hospital.

Yesterday, two bus drivers from the Tenuun-Ogoo company were also diagnosed with coronavirus.

So far, Mongolia has 1195 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 394 of them have been locally transmitted.
