Mr. L.Munkhtushig, Director General of the Consular Department of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry reported that the planned charter flight between Ulaanbaatar and Seoul has been cancelled due to the deteriorating coronavirus situation in South Korea. The National Emergency Commission had planned four charter flights for the repatriation of Mongolians stranded in foreign countries during December. Two MIAT flights to Frankfurt have been conducted successfully yesterday and today. However, the planned charter flight to Seoul on 25 December was cancelled. Therefore, the MIAT will conduct the last charter flight of 2020 to Tokyo on Sunday 20 December.
