Today (18 December), Mongolia confirmed 18 new cases of coronavirus after testing 9070 people nationwide. All the new cases were from the Bayanzurkh District General Hospital in Ulaanbaatar. Therefore, a total of 20 people including yesterday’s two have been infected with coronavirus at the hospital.

So far, Mongolia has 941 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 488 of them are locally transmissions. Of these,163 were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar, 216 in Selenge Province followed by 45 in Darkhan-Uul Province, 32 in Dornogobi Province, 25 in OrkhonProvince, four in Gobisumber Province and three in Arkhangai Province.

As of today, 473 people or 50.2 percent of those who infected with coronavirus have recovered.
