The Mongolian Government has issued strict measures for taking control over local transmissions of Covid-19. These include a curfew. Residents are banned from leaving their homes except for emergency needs and anyone who does not wear a masks will be fined MNT 50,000.

To ensure public order and the imposition of the curfew, over 5000 law enforcement officers have been deployed across Ulaanbaatar.
