Mongolia reports 14 new cases of Covid-19 in two days

Mongolia has confirmed 14 new cases of coronavirus after testing 993 samples in four laboratories nationwide in the last two days. So far, the total tally of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 382; however, 312 of them are recovered. Currently, 64 people are under treatment in the National Centre for Communicative Diseases.

The following people have been diagnosed having coronavirus;

  • Two truck drivers from Russia and Belarus who entered through the Altanbulag border crossing on 9 November. The Russian driver returned home at his own request.
  • Two women aged 20 and 21 who have been repatriated from Kazakhstan with charter flight on 8 November
  • A 22-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man who returned from Seoul on 19 October
  • Two men aged 44-54 and a 31-year-old woman who were repatriated from Seoul on 20 October
  • A 31-year-old man who was evacuated from India on 20 October
  • A medical worker who works with the nurse at the NCCD, who we mentioned recently. The nurse become Mongolia’s first local transmission case.
