Mongolia has confirmed 12 new cases of coronavirus after testing 1816 samples in four laboratories nationwide in the last three days.
The following samples tested positive forcoronavirus:
–Four men aged 31-48 and a woman who returned from Seoul with a charter flight on 19 October,
– a 29–year-old from India on 20 October,
– a 59–year-old Russian truck driver who entered the Altanbulag border crossing on 7 November,
– a 56–year-old Belarusian and a 52–year-old Mongolian, both truck drivers, who entered the Altanbulag border crossing on 8 November,
–Three Mongolian truck drivers aged 30-33, who entered the Altanbulag border crossing on 17-18 October.
Separately, four people have been discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases after having fully recovered. Those include two Russian truck drivers aged 36-42, a 25–year-old Mongolian who returned from Tokyo on 10 October and a 19–year-old Mongolian who had been repatriated with a charter flight fromSeattle.
So far, Mongolia’s confirmed cases of coronavirus to date come to 368, of which 317 –or 88 percent – have recovered.
