Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Mongolia after the testing of 1068 samples in four laboratories nationwide; two Belarusian truck drivers aged 30-48, a 19-year-old Mongolian who returned from India on 20 October and a nurse diagnosed positive for Covid-19. The nurse from Selenge province tested positive for coronavirus while working at the National Centre of Communicative Diseases. All medical staff who are in direct contact with patients at the NCCD works in 14-days shifts. After completing the shift, doctors and nurses have been put in 14 days of isolation for observation of coronavirus infection. The nurse was confirmed having coronavirus infection on her 12th working day.
So far, Mongolia has 356 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 314 or 68 percent of them have fully recovered.
