The overall tally of patients who have tested positive for coronavirus in Mongolia since March, has jumped to 338, as eleven more cases were reported over the last three days.

According to a statement issued on Monday by the Mongolian National Centre for Communicable Diseases (NCCD), 312 patients have so far won the battle against the brutal coronavirus infection and been accordingly discharged from hospitals.

Mongolia confirmed its first case of coronavirus in March after a French national was diagnosed with the infection. Since then, there have been no deaths from the virus and no local infections.
