Today (12 October), Mongolia has reported three new cases of COVID-19 and two recoveries.

The National Centre for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) conducted a total of 2027 samples on 9-11 October; two Mongolians, who arrived on a charter flight from Tokyo, and one transport truck driver tested positive.  Therefore, the total COVID-19 cases in the country have reached 318.

Separately, two people have fully recovered from the coronavirus; bringing the total recoveries to 310. Currently, eight patients are under treatment at the NCCD.
