The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Mongolia, Stanislav Chepurnoy, has taken part in a solemn ceremony of handing over to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia the first consignment of fire-fighting and rescue vehicles on chassis from the Minsk Automotive Plant (MAZ), delivered under an greement between the governments of the two countries.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Chepurnoy expressed his deep appreciation for Belarusian-Mongolian cooperation and noted the prospects for the implementation of joint projects under the export credit scheme, stressing the particular importance of the successful landmark delivery of the Belarusian fire-engines.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador Chepurnoy had a short conversation with Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Ya.Sodbaatar, during which the practical implementation of the project for the modernisation of the NEMA machinery park was discussed.
