A 19-year-old woman was confirmed today (5 October) as having coronavirus after returning to Mongolia on a charter flight from the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan.

D.Nyamkhuu, from the National Centre for Communicable Diseases, reported that four laboratories across the country have tested 1823 people over the last three days.

As of today, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia has reached 314, with 307 recoveries. Currently, seven patients are receiving the treatment at the NCCD.
