Snow and blizzards are expected in most parts of Mongolia in early October. According to the meteorological agency, snow is expected to fall in the western provinces tomorrow (29 September), moving to the central provinces on 30 September, then spreading to the Gobi regions and the eastern provinces on 1 October. It is expected that snow will have reached most parts of the country by 2 October.
The wind speed will reach 7-12 m/sec in most parts of the country.
Temperatures in October are expected to below average by 1-2 degrees Celsius in the following provinces: Selenge, Tuv, Khentii, Bulgan and Dornod – other places are to expect the normal temperature for this time of year.
