Mongolian man skywalks across Chuluut River Canyon

Mongolian circus performer M.Myagmarsaikhan has successfully walked  over a 130-meter long tight rope 50 meters above the ground across the Chuluut River Canyon in Arkhangai province.

M.Myagmarsaikhan is the only professional  tightrope walker in Mongolia. In August 2019, he walked across the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall in Bat-Ulzii Soum of Uvurkhangai Province on a 65-long tightrope 25 meters above the ground, becoming the first ever artist to perform a tightrope walk over a scenic location in Mongolia.

M.Myagmarsaikhan performed another skywalk act across the Chuluut River Canyon this month with over 4000 spectators witnessing the event live.

A team of over 50 circus professionals worked with him to execute the performance, which aims to create a new tourism product, make people understand the value of human lives as well as to promote the beautiful natural landscape of Mongolia to foreign and domestic tourists.

What about the future? Currently, he is planing to walk over the Khorgiin Togoo (Khorgo Volcano) in Arkhangai Province or the Uran Togoo Volcano in Bulgan Province next year.
