Two Mongolian mothers named N.Orgilmaa and E.Erdenechimeg have completed over 5700 km by motorbike. The friends started their epic journey on 20 July and have visited 10 provinces of Mongolia. Initially, the pair planned to ride 5000 km; however, they did not want to finish their trip without having seen some of the dramatic and breathtaking scenery Mongolia has to offer. Their farthest destination was the Tavan Bogd, mountain massif located in the far west of the country near the triple border with Russia and China; their last detour was the Khuisiin Naiman Nuur (Eight Lakes) in Uvurkhangai Province.
Moto sport made them friends, said N.Orgilmaa. She has been active in the sport moto for 14 years. Now, she is planning to travel 20,000 km by motorbike solo through the Mongolian steppe. E.Erdenechimeg has only one year’s experience, but she had faith in her friend for this extreme adventure.
