Today (12 August), six people were discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases (NCCD) after having fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing total recoveries in the country to 269. The passengers who returned from Istanbul on the charter flight of 29 July and the Mongolian peacekeepers have all recovered from the coronavirus infection.
So far, Mongolia has 293 confirmed cases of coronavirus; all of them are imported. In other words, the country of three million has no local transmission. Currently, 24 people remain under treatment at the NCCD.
