Earlier today (5 August), 14 peacekeepers were discharged from the National Centre for Communicative Diseases after having fully recovered from the coronavirus infection.  Mongolia repatriated 62 peacekeepers from Afghanistan on 12-14 July after some of them had contacted coronavirus. Therefore, a total of 22 peacekeepers were confirmed as having COVID-19.

So far, Mongolia has 293 confirmed cases of coronavirus and recovery rate to 244 or 83.2 percent. Currently, 49 patients with coronavirus infection remain under treatment at the NCCD.
