Last week, Mongolia repatriated a total of 1221 of its nationals with five charter flights; 43 of these passengers have been taken for observation to the Central Military Hospital, 12 people have isolated in the National Centre for Communicative Diseases and others to hotels and resorts. Mongolia rules a mandatory isolation period of 21 days for all who are repatriated from foreign countries.
Since 9 January, Mongolia has isolated a total of 16288 people for observation of coronavirus symptoms. Currently, 2677 people continue in isolation nationwide; 23 were added yesterday.
So far, Mongolia has 293 confirmed cases of coronavirus; all of them are imported.
