Yesterday (29 July), Mongolia conducted coronavirus tests on 520 samples collected from 439 people who have recently returned and those caring for them. These include, the last passengers repatriated from Seoul, four suspected people isolated in the National Center of Communicative Disease, 33 transit truck drivers who crossed the border from Russia at the Altanbulag crossings, eight doctors as well as 33 people isolated in the Selenge and Darkhan-Uul provinces – all of them tested negative for coronavirus.
So far, Mongolia has 291 confirmed cases of coronavirus, of which 225 have recovered. Currently, 66 patients with coronavirus are under treatment in the NCCD; 62 of them have mild symptoms. However, one patient is in a critical condition.
